Shalom to my brothers and sisters of the Holy Land. At 21.00 UTC today, Friday 19 April 2013, I will be looking for you all on HF SSB 160 to 10 Meters through 21.00 UTC Saturday 20 April 2013. I hope and pray that I will be able to have QSOs with as many Israeli amateur radio operators as possible. Since receiving my "ham" license in 1974, I have very few Israeli hams in my logbook; much less as confirmed QSOs via QSL or otherwise. As I age with a degenerative neurological disorder, it is my hope that by participating in the I.A.R.C. Holyland Contest of 2013 (a first-time entry for me) that I will be honored to work as many of the on-the-air Israeli amateur radio stations as possible in a 24 hour period.
